The Beach Bum Style
Matthew McConaughey’s actual bum
After the success of Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar and Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street, Matthew McConaughey’s next movie, The Beach Bum, was a much-needed breather. This film is a bong-fuelled romp about a slacker poet who lives off the land in Key West, Florida. In the film, he plays the flamboyant ‘Moondog’, an eccentric slacker who embraces an aimless lonesomeness and the freedom to live life to the fullest. A psychedelic 35-mm gaze accompanies the story, leaving a surreal impression on the viewer.
In the movie, Matthew McConaughey sports shoulder-length dirty blonde hair and unbuttoned Aloha shirts. In some scenes, he’s sporting a royal purple G-string, while in others he’s showing off his tan lines. Regardless of his fashion choice, these scenes are fun. Unlike his usual surfer-goofball persona, McConaughey has never gone this far with his unflappability.
Moondog’s thong bathing suits
Matthew McConaughey’s beach bum character Moondog is rocking a purple thong in “The Beach Bum,” the latest movie from director Harmony Korine. In addition to McConaughey’s star power, the movie boasts an impressive roster of stars: Jonah Hill, Isla Fisher, and Zac Efron. In addition, the film features an appearance by Snoop Dogg and Jimmy Buffett, whose presence is reflected in the film’s title.
The movie’s trailer is a visual treat. The images are striking, but the plot is kept vague. The trailer does reveal that Moondog has gotten into hot water with the law. However, his character doesn’t seem too bothered by it.
Comfortable clothes
The first rule of beach clothing is that it should be comfortable and easy to wear. Stay away from denim, oxford cotton, and jersey; stick to lightweight cottons and a loose knit cotton sweater as an extra layer. The clothing should be easy to throw on and take off, and it should be quick drying.
Comfortable clothes for beach bum style should include shorts and t-shirts. A pair of sandals will give you a more casual feel. You should also bring some sunglasses. These are not only functional, but also decorative. If you’re going to the beach, you’ll want to be able to keep your eyes shaded as you soak up the sun.
Keeping your feet bare on the beach
While it is common to enjoy the beach barefoot, there are certain precautions you should take to keep your feet safe. Not only does proper foot care promote better health, but it can also prevent injury. For instance, before you head to the beach, dry your feet thoroughly. The sand on the beach can burn your feet and cause blistering or redness. It can also harbor rocks and other objects that can cause pain and discomfort.
Additionally, bare feet are vulnerable to sprains and twists. People with diabetes and peripheral neuropathy should always wear proper footwear when walking on hot sand.
